When will Captured Hearts / next chapter of SNatSS / etc come out?When they're ready, girlfriend! I write and edit everything myself so it takes a lot of time, effort, and energy, all of which are in short supply for me these days. I'm also burnt out. I can't in good faith promise any publication dates right now.What I can promise is that every nice note, comment, or review means the world to me. To the folks still reading my stories (and I'm super curious how you find them when I'm not marketing them!), everyone who has bought a copy, the folks (scratch that: angels) who pay more than the asking book price on Itch.io, etc - you're the best. When I'm ready to publish again, I'll be doing it for you.
Do you use GenAI?Absolutely not. Just want to make it explicitly clear that I write and edit the old-fashioned way (well, word doc and keyboard - but you catch my drift). I don't like what GenAI does to the environment, how it uses stolen content, and is just an all-around spit-in-the-face to creatives.I write the words myself. I make my own gosh darn covers sitting here yelling at stock images not lining up correctly in GIMP and Canva. I edit to the best of my ability. Someday I'd love to get professional editing on board, but if I'm completely honest with you, the books sales currently don't cover their upfront costs (the ISBNs I stupidly bought, stock art for covers, design software fees, website fees, etc). So that's a pipe dream atm. Until then, I'm a one woman army - but it is an army of flesh and blood.
